After four celebrated albums, international hits, and worldwide tours, Dotan returns with new music – and yet it feels as if his journey is just beginning. In 2025, the Dutch singer-songwriter has left old expectations behind and learned to embrace all facets of his personality. His new music is an unfiltered portrait of this moment. Dotan: "It will be my fifth album, but it feels like a second debut." Dotan first gained attention in 2011 with "Dream Parade," followed by his international breakthrough "7 Layers" (2014) and the hit "Home." This was followed by sold-out shows and tours across Europe and the USA, as well as performances at Pinkpop, Rock Werchter, Sziget, Pukkelpop, Hurricane/Southside, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. His songs found their place worldwide in series, films, and campaigns. "Home" reached number 1 on the Canadian charts in 2024 – ten years after its release. After a creative break, he returned in 2019 with the single "Numb," in 2021 with the album "Satellites," and in 2024 with "A Little Light In The Dark." The recent European tour reinforced his feeling that the stage is his natural retreat and meeting place. In October 2025, Dotan will continue his "A Bigger Light In The Dark" tour in Belgium, Germany, and Italy.
