In the Kalkalpen National Park, red deer roam freely all year round. In autumn, it is mating season - during this time, powerful calls echo through the mountain forests at dusk. The stags now seek the company of the females and engage in contests of strength with their rivals. Accompanied by a national park ranger, you will experience the loud natural spectacle of the deer rut.
