Jazz at Traxlmayr: Flip Philipp Quintet

Flip Philipp, a master of the vibraphone, had the fortune of meeting him in early 2004 to collaborate for three days on a joint project at the Vienna City Hall. This experience left a lasting impression on Flip Philipp. It also provided inspiration for a new approach to the music creation process and its interpretation. In his homage, Flip Philipp reflects on this with his quintet and draws inspiration from the early Joe Zawinul. (Press release – MuTh Vienna)
