I DREAM WITH OPEN EYES REALITIES. Swan Songs.

The anniversary production on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of walktanztheater.com.

The beautiful window facade of the Montforthaus in Feldkirch is a unique place for watching and seeing. The nearly surrounding windows have a magnetic effect, promising tranquility, brilliance, and an artistic world within. The window performance aims to explore these qualities from both inside and outside, delving into the invisible dialogue and shaping an intense and touching glimpse of dance.

The poems of Else Lasker-Schüler form the basis of the artistic engagement and will be realized with a dance ensemble of five dancers, one actress, one singer, and the music of Marcus Nigsch. The goal is to create a place of longing, a hybrid space, a dream place, as envisioned and realized by Else Lasker-Schüler in both her life and her poetry. Those who look into this transparent house should find themselves in their own cosmos, a fantastic place with distinctive costumes, contemporary music, and light.
