The fact that one does not see the elaborate creation process in Heuer's works - drawing, photography, painting, object, installation - is what gives them their special quality: everything appears light and effortless, like the result of a playful process. Some pieces indeed emerge from experimentation, and there is a childlike-rebellious gesture in the realization of such ideas.
