SYMPHONY IN THE COURTYARD - Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra of Lake Constance-Upper Swabia

The open-air symphony concerts in the courtyard of the New Palace delight visitors. Works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Franz Schubert are performed by the renowned **Gregor Hübner** with the **Kammerphilharmonie Bodensee-Oberschwaben**. The concert program of the "Symphony in the Courtyard" is "in motion" in many ways – it can be found in the forces of nature, in inner awakening, and in artistic exploration. In Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, the sea itself becomes a musical organism – waves that remain in constant motion, breathing and breaking. The world-renowned crossover violinist Gregor Hübner, a musical border crosser, brings the festival motto into the present: in his Violin Concerto No. 2, the solo part oscillates between classical and jazz, between fixed structure and improvisation – a constant journey in sound. Schubert's symphony ultimately combines clarity of form with romantic melodies.
