At the heart of this moving and musically high-quality evening are songs that continue to delight audiences today with their distinctive and poetic character. The two lead actors bear a striking resemblance to their idols and interpret the works with skill and great respect, accompanied by a five-member band. The show takes the audience from the early musical steps of the two New York boys through their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s to their separation in 1970. The highlight is the legendary reunion at the concert in Central Park in 1981 in front of more than half a million fans. Large projections with carefully selected photo and video material convey the moods of the time and bring special moments of their success story back to the stage.
