On this day, Tübingen's Brunnenstraße transforms into a paradise for all lovers of model steam engines. Numerous collectors fire up their steam engines. Additionally, the museum provides steam engines from its own collection that anyone can fuel. Then, the whole street hisses, smokes, and steams up and down. Those who arrive with a steam engine receive free dry fuel, distilled water, an entry ticket to BOXENSTOP, and the obligatory voucher for a "Dampfrote." The Boxenstop requests a short informal registration (preferably by January 2, 2026). It is sufficient to provide your name and the number of machines to sekretariat@boxenstop-tuebingen.de or call 07071 – 92 90 90.
