Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, nursing service manager, home director, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Grandma to raise his voice for the people who are often not heard in our "society of elder disposal." The award-winning cabaret artist portrays the nursing home resident lovingly, multifaceted, and with great empathy.
