Schick Sisters and Friends - Love/Love/L'amour

In their second season, the Schick Sisters open the concert series with their musical friends. Appropriately for Valentine's Day, love is the theme of the evening. Love is not only one of the most important motifs for songs and musical pieces in folk music, but it also dominates many genres. Thus, the three sisters dedicate an entire evening to this emotion, which hardly anyone escapes, that causes so much suffering and ignites so much joy.

They are supported by the ensemble Strange 4, which offers a "strange" journey from classical to contemporary music with flute/piccolo, oboe, saxophone, and bass clarinet, as well as by musician friends Eddie Luis from Folksmilch and Gravogl Thomas.

From the minnesong to the "L'amour-Hatscher" – there are many musical declarations of love. There is something for everyone. The musicians create a varied concert on behalf of all participants in 2026 with many loving melodies, because their love is... the music!
