Varied high-altitude hike between Sigmaringen, Sigmaringendorf, and the Danube

This beautiful half-day tour starts at Hedinger Church with a short climb to the residential area of Wachtelhau and follows the route: Suggenstein Castle – Wachtelhau – Sigmaringer Forest – Sigmaringendorf – Sigmaringen – University of Applied Sciences This beautiful half-day tour starts at Hedinger Church with a short climb to the residential area of Wachtelhau. We will be accompanied by views of Suggenstein Castle and the former Hedingen monastery. Through Sigmaringer Forest, we reach Sigmaringendorf, where we take a short break. Along the Lauchert river and through a residential area, we climb up to the former Sigmaringen military training area. The vastness and size of the former site will accompany us until we reach Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences and descend to the starting point.
