BOB – Suburban Songs with Wit and Soul
Almost every Austrian knows her: Eva Billisich, the woman from the cult film Mother's Day, who has been bringing color to everyday life with her blue hair for a long time. Now she is on stage with her band BOB – delivering honest music beyond the mainstream.
Viennese dialect meets blues, soul, and a good portion of rock.
The songs are charming, witty, sometimes cynical, always full of feeling and zest for life – stories from the suburbs, wrapped in groovy chansons.

The three conductors, in the best sense of the word dilettantes, are fanatics of expression, great explorers in the realm of the sublime, as well as the ugly and the grotesque. All of them are talents far beyond their genius. Virtuosos through and through! Born enemies of logic and straight lines, eager for the foreign, the exotic, the monstrous, for all opiates of the senses and the mind.
A contrabass is plucked, a comb is blown, a harmonica is drawn, and a saw is stroked. There will be singing. Rhymes and non-rhymes will be forcefully presented. Refreshments will be served as if by ghostly hands. It will be wine.
