SCHELLHORN & WAGNER / ATTWENGER

The "Tyrolean Guitar Poet" Christoph Schellhorn presents his brand new album Sunita. Joining him is rock drummer Martin Wagner. Together, the two celebrate pure minimalism and extract everything they can from guitar, vocals, and drums.

Christoph Schellhorn has been on stage for 26 years and enjoys an excellent reputation as a skilled fingerstyle guitarist, studio musician, and workshop instructor. He has previously played with Peter Ratzenbeck, Kieran Halpin, Chris Jones, Ulli Bäer, Roland Neuwirth, and Schiffkowitz, among others. On stage, he presents himself not only as a passionate musician and serious songwriter but also as a humorous entertainer.

Since 1991, "Attwenger" has been a project in constant motion. Markus Binder plays the drums, while Hans-Peter Falkner plays the accordion (electric squeezebox). Both sing and incorporate contemporary electronics into their music. Attwenger is considered one of the most innovative bands in Austria, blending elements of folk with punk, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music.
