At the center of the play is Judge Adam, who is tasked with solving a curious case in a small Dutch village—only to find himself increasingly entangled in lies and power struggles. Look forward to one of the most frequently performed classics of German literature, which continues to impress today with its blend of suspense, comedy, and social satire.
