Birgit Denk and Band

Birgit Denk and her musicians celebrated their "Silver Wedding," marking their 25th anniversary, in 2025! The festivities will continue differently in 2026. For the exclusive evening at the Wiener Orpheum, the band will bring out their instruments and perform their most popular songs "unplugged." The dialect band started in 2000, wild and dangerous. Birgit was dubbed a "rock diva" by the media, and the amplifiers were often larger than their users. This is dialect rock, with songs like "Hoits eich au," "Laut," and "Wohin sois geh." The band's musical versatility and curiosity for different sound colors led them to arrange their existing rock songs in a way that supports Birgit's sometimes delicate vocals with acoustic guitars, mandolins, or accordions. In 2007, this work resulted in the already legendary and sold-out live album "Ausgsteckt in Rappoltenkirchen." On this evening at the Orpheum, the band will joyfully pay tribute to this work and present rearranged songs created later as a premiere. For fans of DENK, as well as newcomers, it will be a great pleasure. "Ausgesteckt" at the Orpheum promises to be a unique, acoustic, musically vibrant evening that will only take place here in 2026.
