Barbara Balldini – Highlights

The time has come: Balldini is coming… not (anymore) – no, she is leaving. Where to? Into well-deserved retirement. But before she does that, the nation’s enlightener is once again gathering all her knowledge, humor, and passion from eight cabaret programs – and, like a tsunami, sweeps across the stage one last time with her farewell program "Highlights": "Honestly, authentically, round and beautiful… enough," as she says about herself. Starting January 2025, she will be on tour.

Everyone who knows, loves, and admires her now has the chance to experience Balldini live one last time in her final program. To the "freshmen" and "newcomers," however, it should be said: "PLEASE FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS." This woman doesn’t hold back. She speaks her mind – about love, about men and women, about everything in bed and around it. And she knows what she’s talking about: After 25 years in sexual counseling, tantra practice, and as a sexual assistant for people with special needs, her cabarets are truly filled with PRACTICE rather than THEORETICS. In short: Forget Dr. Sommer, YouTube, or PornHub – watch BALDINI, and you will REALLY know how it’s done.

The farewell program: Highlights
With "Highlights," Balldini combines the funniest and most exciting moments from eight cabaret programs: everything you’ve always wanted to know about the so-called most beautiful thing in the world. She explains the dos and don’ts in the bedroom as well as preferences and inclinations that enrich human existence. She offers relationship tips for everyday life and shares anecdotes from her practice. She answers secret questions, clarifies myths, and discusses the impact of pornography on our sexuality. And last but not least, she reassures couples who are worried because "things in bed" are working less and less, and with her knowledge, she serves as an inspiration for young and old alike.

"Highlights" always functions as an independent cabaret program and is thus much more than a classic "best-of." Alongside countless giggles and laughs, there are also many enlightening moments – because, as always, the motto applies: enlightenment with a laughter AND learning guarantee. Moreover, her truly crazy and extravagant life (detailed in her biography) provides plenty of material for the stage and the astonished audience: From her parentless upbringing in a convent, through her careers as an elephant caretaker, adult educator, spatial designer, and sexual educator, to her roles as a mother, grandmother, wife, lover, and Buddhist, she has much to tell (and confess).
