In their new family program, we accompany them through a day filled with rhythm, humor, and joy of playing. With impressive precision, acting talent, and a lot of wit, they captivate their audience, which is actively involved in the action. With great passion, impressive rhythmic precision, acting talent, and plenty of humor, the sound artists traverse the epochs of music history from classical, jazz, rock, and pop. With their popular children’s and youth programs, they delight audiences of all ages and are regular guests at the Vienna Concert Hall, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Vienna Musikverein, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, and at Jeunesse Österreich.

The musicians of Louie’s Cage Percussion are members of renowned European orchestras: Tonkünstler Orchestra Lower Austria, Vienna Volksoper, Graz Opera, Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, and the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor. They are sought-after instructors at master classes, teachers at music schools, and hold two professorships for percussion at the University of Arts Graz.

Even during their studies, they founded Louie’s Cage Percussion to experience musical freedom, experiment on their instruments, create new sounds, and write musical stories.

The musicians particularly want to encourage young audiences to be creative, enjoy music, and pursue their own goals. They convey this message of passion and determination as musical role models through their performances, teaching, and especially in youth programs and workshops.
