Ernst Molden, described by Oberösterreichische Nachrichten as “the outstanding Austrian songwriter of the present,” performs in various line-ups.
In 2015, he received the German Song Prize for the “most significant song in the German language” (Ho Rugg) – as the first Austrian musician. Since then, he has been awarded the Amadeus Award three times, and his hit “Awarakadawara” has been on everyone’s lips for years.
In 2026 in Golling, he will perform with three exceptional female musicians. Maria Petrova, “the best drummer in Austria and Bulgaria,” Marlene Lacherstorfer, the unforgettable bassist from Alma, Clueso, and others, as well as Sibylle Kefer, whose voice is as distinctive as her flute and guitar playing (also as an important singer-songwriter in her own songs). He refers to them as the “women's orchestra” or “my rock band.” “Killer band,” Ernst Molden says cheerfully after the recordings for the album “neiche zeid,” “we’ve never been this good.”
