Alfons Haider - My Mama the Lioness

Actor, singer, host, cabaret artist, and entertainer - we are delighted to welcome this versatile talent to our bookstore!

The book: Alfons Haider's mother passed away in 2023 - now he tells for the first time the whole story of this touching relationship, which is also a love letter to all mothers. From the challenging life of a woman who gave everything for her son, through the difficult phase of coming out and beautiful shared successes, to the last years when the son took care of his mother.
The author: Alfons Haider, born in 1957, is an actor, singer, host, cabaret artist, and entertainer. He has performed on all the major stages in Austria, hosted the Vienna Opera Ball and Dancing Stars for ORF. Since 2020, he has been the general director of the Mörbisch Lake Festival.
As always, we will conclude the evening with drinks, snacks, and lively conversations.
