Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, head of nursing services, home manager, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for those who are not often heard in our "society of aging disposal." The award-winning cabaret artist portrays the nursing home resident lovingly, multifaceted, and with great empathy.
