An unexpected SMS from her former teacher Ute throws Ari off balance. Over ten years ago, the two shared a close relationship that Ari still cannot shake off. Now, in her late twenties, she begins to process her memories among her friends and in conversations with Ute, allowing a serious question to surface: Was what happened to me back then abuse?

The winning text of the Retzhofer Drama Prize 2025 is a witty, fast-paced, and provocative drama addressing the themes of abuse of power and violence in queer relationships. Lynn T. Musiol surprises with a cast of characters marked by unmistakable clarity, directness, and audacity, crafted with "intellectual and artistic brilliance" "without mediocre compromise" (jury statement). The play attempts to make the uncomfortable and contradictory palpable and expressible with force and speed.

The young director Claus Nicolai Six, who staged the last winning piece of the Retzhofer Drama Prize, MUTTERTIER, in 2024 at Schauspiel Köln, celebrates his debut at BURG with LECKEN 3000.
