ARGH - Jungle Vienna

A shiver runs down the spine. The fingers tingle. And sweat. The corners of the mouth pull outward. And downward. The nostrils flare. Like the eyes. They stare at this disgusting thing. The shoulders hunch forward. Like two tanks. Yuck. Says the whole body.

There was supposedly once a princess who was so angry at a frog because he was so gross and intrusive that she slammed him against a wall. The impact transformed the frog. Or was it the princess who transformed? Because she found an expression for her anger? Where did she find it? And why was the frog so repulsive? Is disgust on the outside and anger on the inside of the body? Or where are they? And how does the anger get out of the body once it’s inside?

The artists deconstruct the fairy tale of the Frog Prince and curiously approach disgust and anger. They search for suitable images, movements, and sounds for inner states during the transformation.
