26th Guinness CELTIC SPRING

Harmonica/Accordion star WILL POUND (Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder) and guitarist/singer MARTY BARRY form the first duo of this year's high-profile lineup. The second ensemble is led by the magnificent English accordion guru SAM MABBETT. SAM originally comes from the British Morris Dance scene but expanded his Celtic repertoire at a very young age and made it to the finals of the "BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician" awards in 2023. He is joined by the wonderful guitarist/singer HEATHER CARTWRIGHT, a shining star in the Scottish scene. Completing this trio is violinist MADELEINE STEWART from New Hampshire, who moved to Glasgow in 2014 to study music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. MADELEINE also reached the finals of the "BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician" awards in 2023. Five unique musicians will treat the Gugg audience to a spectacular fireworks display of Celtic music that evening!
