The operetta has many faces! Think of "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss, representing the golden era, then "The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehár, which would be the silver era. But even after that, much is happening, only it takes place not only in theaters but also in films. It is the time of operetta films and homeland films. Carefree entertainment that is also reflected in the music. This creates an incredibly charming mix of traditional European and lively American dance music.
