Haunsberg Star Hike to the Kaiserbeech

We Haunsberg residents are hiking again! Traditionally, our star hike to Haunsberg takes place on October 26th. We will meet at 9:30 AM at the Berndorf village square, and then we will set off over Großenegg up to the Gasthaus zur Kaiserbuche. Pastor Dr. Alphonse Fahin will hold a word service next to the Kaiser-Franz-Joseph Chapel at 1:00 PM. To strengthen us, there will be delicious offerings from the Haunsberg farmers, served by the Kaiserbaumwirt. A special market featuring Haunsberg specialties will also be available. Many "Haunsbergers" will present their products during this event. The selection is very diverse. From handmade leather wallets to children's toys made from local wood, there is something for everyone. Smoky mixtures made from local herbs, the popular Haunsberg rolls baking mixes, decorative floral arrangements, fine spirits made from regional fruits, and much, much more await hikers and visitors at this very special market. The star hike to Haunsberg is organized by the association "Identität Haunsberg," which sees itself as a network for strengthening this unique region, encompassing the five Haunsberg communities. The goal is to preserve the Haunsberg in its uniqueness and beauty beyond municipal borders and to support the Haunsberg residents in their opportunities as best as possible.
