The magnificent artists invite the audience on a musical adventure journey into the so-called VARIETÉ CULTURE this evening. The three friends from Vienna aim to break the usual boundaries between different music genres with this diverse program. Works ranging from Bach to Brahms to Bernstein, as well as original compositions, improvisations, and musical comedy are part of this journey, with which the artists hope to both entertain and inspire the audience.
Joji Hattori was celebrated as a musical prodigy, won the Yehudi Menuhin Competition, and built a career as a solo violinist. However, he was soon drawn to the conductor's podium. He learned from Lorin Maazel, became a festival director, and guest-conducted numerous orchestras. He comes to Golling with pianist Hyung-ki Joo. The pianist and composer uses his creative energy to develop new concert formats and bring classical music closer to a wide audience, as he did in 2025 at the Salzburg Festival with Asmik Grigorian, causing a sensation. They are accompanied by mezzo-soprano Johanna von der Deken.
