Leo Middea from Rio de Janeiro is renewing Música Popular Brasileira (MPB) through an innovative blend of Bossa Nova and Samba with urban pop. With five critically acclaimed albums and millions of streams, he has built an international fanbase. Middea performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and became the first Brazilian to reach the finals of the Festival da Canção. His music combines acoustic guitar arrangements with Latin American rhythms and European influences.
