**At 1,200 years old, that’s when things really get going.** The Cella Ratoldi is turning 1,200. A reason to celebrate—and of course the ZellAkkorde ensemble wants to be part of it! But Radolfzell’s history has so much to offer that brainstorming can get a little stressful: What on earth should we focus on? We could perform scenes ranging from the Heilig-Geist-Spital to the Mettnau-Kur. Or perhaps sing the praises of Viktor von Scheffel? What about the vineyards, the pub culture, or the Ratoldusbrunnen? And Schiesser? Schiesser has to be included, no matter what! That’s why ZellAkkorde is telling many little stories about the town this time. The focus is on lesser-known women whose fates are linked to Radolfzell. But male figures like Victor von Scheffel and Jacques Schiesser also get their say—and their songs.
