Accompanied by herbalist Heiderose Rentschler, we’ll walk along field and meadow paths to the flowering meadow surrounding the Dannemann family’s apiary on the edge of the forest in Altbulach.
Along the way, we’ll discover all sorts of wild herbs and learn plenty about their uses—including as remedies—and what to look out for when gathering them. At the apiary, the beekeeper will take us on a journey into the world of bees. We’ll learn about the lives of his bee colonies, as well as the production of honey and its many beneficial properties. Of course, a little taste from the honey pot is a must. After a brief tasting, we’ll head back to the parking lot, feeling refreshed.
