T I L I A's music poses questions about human existence. GIS Orchestra
The GIS Orchestra (Go for Improvised Sounds) operates on the principle of conducted improvisation. A series of pre-agreed signals coordinate the interplay of a roughly 20-member ensemble. The person conducting is simultaneously the architect of the musical process; they design the blueprint while the musicians shape the defined spaces at their discretion. In this way, individual spontaneity and a defined sound experience can be connected and mutually invigorated, even in such a large formation. The result of the interplay remains unpredictable. Where noise rock, experimental electronics, and free jazz bid each other "Good Night," the GIS Orchestra hits the snooze button again. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes with full force. The ongoing organization of the orchestra is managed by Gigi Gratt, who initiated the project in 2013 together with the cultural association Waschaecht from Wels. It is mostly Gratt who takes on the role of conductor, although other orchestra members are also free to lead pieces.

Binder & Krieglstein
Rainer Binder-Krieglstein is an Austrian musician from Graz who performs under the name Binder & Krieglstein, which ironically suggests that it is a duo. His overall musical work is influenced by jazz, funk, soul, and pop, and stylistically mostly represents a mix of dub, electronics, and folk, rendered in electronic downtempo beats and rhythms. His albums therefore always include very different music pieces, some of which feature vocals, collaborating with various singers. For the musical design itself, which mostly occurs on the computer, he occasionally works with other producers and DJs, who accordingly influence and enrich the musical outcome of an album.
