JAZZ CELLAR AT THE SCOTS: HANNES KASEH'S QUINTET

Since Hannes acquired his first Lightnin' Hopkins record at around 14 years old, he has been involved with blues music! Almost 46 years have passed since then. Hannes has played in countless bands and on national and international stages.

At the same time, he has found the best lineup for his own band with his long-time musical friends: his sister, Christa Kasehs on bass and harmony vocals, Christian Kurz on drums, Andras Kohalmi, aka Andy Harp on the blues harp, and Tom Silver on piano.

With these wonderful people, he can wonderfully express and showcase his preference for often very spontaneously interpreted blues music, as well as some country songs! This music is fundamentally honest, mature, and simply feels good!
