Castle Wertheim Invites You to the Middle Ages

After a long winter slumber, the vagabonds from the time of knights and ladies return to celebrate the start of the new season behind ancient walls. The medieval scene invites you to the Castle Spring. At the romantic castle ruins high above the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers, craftsmen, merchants, innkeepers, entertainers, and knights gather. Visitors can experience the hustle and bustle of a medieval market live. This includes a concert stage with music, juggling between tables and benches, and appropriate catering. The colorful activity on and in front of the stage in the castle moat is accompanied by market activities, where craftsmen showcase their work, vendors offer their goods, and tavern keepers provide food and drink.
