Mick Rogers - The Rogerama Tour

With an impressive career spanning six decades, Mick Rogers, guitarist, singer, and founding member of the legendary Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, is embarking on a major solo tour across Europe. Under the title “The Rogerama Tour,” Rogers celebrates the history of rock guitar – from the 1950s to the present – making a stop at Komma on April 7. The audience can look forward to a concert full of passion, virtuosity, and authenticity. Mick Rogers captivates not only with his unmistakable voice and world-class guitar playing but also delights with personal stories and anecdotes from his decades-long career – charming, humorous, and approachable all at once.

“I wanted to create a pure solo show where I play the music that has inspired me since I first picked up a guitar in the early 1950s,” explains Mick Rogers. “I have been fortunate to experience the music of some of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll guitarists up close – artists like Eddie Cochran, Hank Marvin, Carl Lee Perkins, Merle Travis, John Lee Hooker, and Jeff Beck. It’s a privilege to be able to interpret some of their iconic songs live on stage.”

Of course, special arrangements of legendary Manfred Mann’s Earth Band titles will also be included – such as Blinded By The Light, Visionary Mountains, Captain Bobby Stout, and Father of Day. “My show is something special because I use my own backing tracks from my studio. Each setlist is a little different – that keeps things varied and fresh. Additionally, I’m constantly writing new songs that I love to share with my audience,” Rogers adds.
