Martin Spengler & the cool Viennese people

Martin Spengler & die foischn Wieners are now an established voice in the chorus of the new Viennese song with their "Schrammelsoul." And now, "It could also be something completely different." Is it really "something completely different" this time? In Ottakring, it still smells of chocolate, death still takes everything lightly, and love everything heavily? But there is a new wind blowing "out on the streets," that "brings the songs" and breaks down barriers in the Viennese song's affectionate connection to this city. Yet "It could also be something completely different" is also utopia, the glow of another, better world. And so Martin Spengler reinvents himself and his songs and lyrics, charging them with a renewed urgency, partly with an unknown seriousness, partly with melancholic wit and loving longing, yes, with a bright utopia. For time and again, it is only the escape towards each other that helps, and so it is again only love that remains, because "with you, it's all a big hooray!"
