BLAUMAROT plays indie pop with a touch of blues and jazz. Lyrical elements are interspersed with minimal music, while ancient melodies are followed by impulsive rock songs. The lyrics tell honest stories about body and spirit, love and nature. Unpretentious poetry, romance, and wordplay characterize the chanson-like songs.
