The old tape recorder of his deceased father takes Heini Brossmann back to his childhood memories. He begins to reconstruct the world of his childhood, where he lived as a boy: a child exploring imaginative landscapes and adventures, deep feelings and self-expression, trying to cope with the world he lives in and its tensions and sorrows through play - and thereby finding the path to the art of puppetry.
