Sláinte (Cheers) to St. Patrick in the Mayor's Room
In March, it’s St. Patrick’s Day again. Around the commemoration of the Christian missionary, everything in St. Pölten revolves around the green island and Irish customs. For this festive occasion, the country band The Gallows Fellows will perform in the Mayor's Room on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 PM, bringing pub flair and the carefree Irish way of life to the baroque town hall.
The six musicians from the region, led by Andreas Hartl, have been known for their country and rustic bluegrass music for years. For St. Patrick’s Day, The Gallows Fellows swap their cowboy hats for flat caps every March and dedicate themselves to a repertoire of Irish folk music, complete with flutes, harp, and bagpipes.
