The Esterházy family has left impressive traces in Eisenstadt – in architecture, garden art, and music. Our route takes us past the former residence of the princely chapel master Joseph Haydn, by the Franciscan Church with the crypt of the majorat lords, and further through the magnificent palace park. Afterwards, we will walk through the former quarter of the princely protected Jews to the Haydn Church on the Oberberg, where the diverse activities of the princely family are also evident.
