Here, grapes for exclusive wines are grown and wonderful nature and landscape experiences are offered. Neckarheld is the name of the new Ludwigsburg city wine, which the Marbach winegrowers presented for the first time in autumn 2020 in collaboration with the city of Ludwigsburg. With traditional viticulture on the steep slopes, the winegrowers are doing heroic work and, with their commitment, ensuring the preservation of this unique cultural landscape with its dry stone vineyard walls. On the Steep Slope Wine Experience Tour around Alt-Hoheneck, you will discover and learn a lot about this unique landscape on the Neckar from the wine experience guide and award-winning tourism heroine 2023, enjoy magnificent views, and taste exclusive premium wines made from grapes grown here. In addition, there will be a regional snack plate, activities, and of course lots of fun at a cozy vineyard cottage! You will meet a winegrower who will present his wine and show you how a steep slope wall is rebuilt.
