The Michaelsberg is also known as the "Guardian of the Zabergäu" - as a distinctive cone, it stands in front of the Stromberg ridge in the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park. As you circle the Michaelsberg on one of the high trails, your gaze sweeps over the Neckar Valley to the Stuttgart TV tower, then over the nature park forest on the Stromberg, and finally over the gentle vineyard hills in the Zabergäu.
