Dive into the Black Well

**In search of drinking water along the Killer Valley** In 1927, the water master from Hechingen set out in search of water. He found what he was looking for in the Weilertal valley in Hausen i. K and tapped the spring, now known as the Schwarzer Brunnen (Black Well). When Harald Schetter followed in his grandfather's footsteps and descended into the Schwarzer Brunnen, he embarked on an incredible and spectacular journey into the underworld of the Swabian Alb. Behind the well chamber lies the longest cave, stretching approximately 1,000 meters along the Zollergraben, with enormous halls, domes, and crystal-clear water of unimaginable beauty. Harald Schetter will give a lecture with film footage about the "Schwarzer Brunnen" and his dives.
