"Under the Clouds"

As part of the 43rd Baden-Württemberg Literature Days, join Achim Bogdahn on a journey through Germany to the highest mountains of the 16 federal states (and to Katzenberg). Baden-Württemberg has the Feldberg, Bavaria has the Zugspitze, but what is the name of the highest "mountain" in Schleswig-Holstein? Bungsberg! Standing at 167.4 meters. And how high is the highest peak in Bremen? 32.5 meters – the elevation in Friedehorst Park. Achim Bogdahn has embarked on a journey across Germany and has climbed the highest mountains of all 16 federal states. To ensure he doesn't wander alone, he has invited well-known individuals from the respective regions to accompany him – he went to the Feldberg with Mehmet Scholl. On the second highest mountain in Bad Mergentheim, Achim Bogdahn will likely delightfully share stories about his Germany book, his encounters and conversations, the people, and life – with many detours, anecdotes, and excursions. Those who wish can climb Katzenberg together with the Swabian Alb Association (details about the hiking route and meeting point will follow). Look forward to a book presentation with snacks and an optional hike to the Earth House. The snacks, featuring a snack board, onion cake, and young wine, will also be available for non-hikers!
