On the Dog's Back with the Swabian Alb Association OG Laufen-Lautlingen

Friday afternoon hike with the local group Laufen-Lautlingen of the Swabian Alb Association. Along the Hundsrücken and through the nature reserve Irrenberg. Together with Peter Hieke from the local group Laufen-Lautlingen of the Swabian Alb Association, we will embark on a summery Friday afternoon hike. We start the hike at the Höhenfreibad in Streichen and take a leisurely large loop upwards to the forest. The plateau offers us a fantastic view of the Balinger mountains and the foothills of the Swabian Jura. In the forest, we leave the forest path and ascend slowly along a narrow, steep trail that leads us over the head of the lying dog onto its back. Passing by very beautiful viewpoints, we reach the Hörnle and return to our starting point via the nature reserve Irrenberg and the Chriesawegle. Meeting point: Parking lot of the sports and festival hall, Albstadt-Laufen (carpooling will be organized). Length: approx. 9.5 km, approx. 280 m elevation gain. Hike leader: Peter Hieke.
