In this year-long series, Gyda Rupprecht shows how to easily make cosmetics yourself – effective, sustainable, and with just a few ingredients. In the third part of the series, the focus is on products for skin and hair. In this year-long series with varying content, I will show you in the workshops how to easily make cosmetics yourself – effective, sustainable, and with a few ingredients that you probably already have at home. As an herb enthusiast, I will also demonstrate the use of herbs, fruits, and vegetables from the garden. Sometimes, a quick reach into the spice cabinet is all it takes. Along the way, we will also highlight ingredients in purchased cosmetic products that could harm our environment or ourselves. Making your own cosmetics is fun, and you always know what is in your product, following the motto "less is more." Making cosmetics yourself is enjoyable and beneficial for us. Freshly prepared and applied, we can do without preservatives and other unnecessary additives. By making it ourselves, we know what is in the product. Regarding skin and hair, we will create 3 to 4 products. What is good, what is harmful, and what do the ingredients in purchased products tell me?
