Poolbar Festival 2026: Bulgarian Cartrader

The music of the award-winning singer/songwriter and producer sounds unique: Daniel Stoyanov, aka Bulgarian Cartrader, carries Western sounds like blues and soul in his heart, but has what he describes as an "Eastern European twist." The Sofia-born and Berlin-based musician has even more catchy descriptions: Byzantine gospel in a modern R’n’B and indie style, or simply Eastern Americana. The fact is, stars like SEEED, Peter Fox, and Caspar have already drawn on his talent. Stoyanov began his solo career in 2021, and in 2023 he was awarded a Music Moves Europe Award as well as recognition at the VUT Indie Awards. During a performance in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, an American GI once referred to him as the "blue-eyed soul brother from Soulgaria": With his current album "Greetings from Soulgaria," Bulgarian Cartrader will also be coming to Feldkirch this summer.
