Millenniumsplatz 1, 3364 Neuhofen an der Ybbs

Since the founding of the Ars Mundi Ensemble at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 1995, its members have enjoyed the most demanding form of classical music-making as a string quartet. The ensemble was honored with a nomination from the music university to participate in the International Music Students Festival in Kyoto, Japan, and received support from Yehudi Menuhin's foundation "Live Music Now."

In keeping with an old Viennese tradition of salon concerts, the ensemble focuses on works by composers of the "First Viennese School" such as Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, paired with representative popular Viennese classics by Lanner, Ziehrer, and members of the Strauss dynasty.

In addition to their regular concert series in Vienna, the career of the Ars Mundi Ensemble has taken them to various musical centers across Europe. All musicians of the ensemble are actively touring and regularly perform on the stages of important musical centers in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
