Founded two decades ago, the legendary Eldis La Rosa Group is now making a comeback! The Cuban multi-instrumentalist Eldis La Rosa is bringing Cuban Jazz back to the stage in Austria – more powerful, diverse, and current than ever.

In 2006, he released his album Trotando, inspired by Paquito D’Rivera and his boundless Latin Jazz. Today, Eldis La Rosa combines the musical colors (Colores) of his hometown Santiago de Cuba with jazz, contemporary grooves, and improvisational freedom – the same diversity that characterizes his cross-genre project Colores. Whether on saxophone, flute, or percussion – Eldis La Rosa's versatility reflects the full expressive power of Cuban music. With his band, the only Cuban Jazz formation in Austria, he already made a lasting impression on the local jazz and world music scene in the 2000s.

Now, the Eldis La Rosa Group is celebrating its comeback – with new energy and matured compositions – presenting Cuban Jazz in its most vibrant form.
