Ligister Carnival "Beware when you let loose"

When the multipurpose hall in Ligist transforms into a stage full of fools, it’s Carnival season again in the Graz region. From February 13 to 15, 2026, the Ligist Carnival Round will once again say: “Beware when you let loose.” For three evenings, sharp humor, biting punchlines, and a lot of passion will showcase how Carnival is celebrated in the Graz region. For years, the Carnival session in Ligist has been a fixed point for everyone who enjoys charming banter and creative acts. The audience can expect a lovingly crafted mix of sketches, music, dance, and local color, featuring many familiar faces from the region. Whether it’s a political jab or everyday nonsense: here, what makes the Styrians laugh is served with a wink.
