A vibrant program that captivates and excites the audience – this is exactly what the spirited folk band Colludie Stone from Kernen im Remstal brings to the stage, performing for the first time in the Sulzfelder Bürgerhauskeller on February 27, 2026. Entertaining, witty, and with a healthy dose of humor, the four musicians present their unmistakable sound, which has enriched the Irish folk scene in southern Germany and beyond for over 15 years. Colludie Stone stands for authentic Irish-Celtic folk with traditional instrumentation and a unique style. The four-member formation (Claudia Elmer: fiddle, vocals; Marc Lewandowsky: guitar, mandola, vocals; Robert Iacuzzi: flute, guitar, vocals; Wilfried Stecher: bodhrán, guitar, mandolin, bass, fiddle, vocals) draws from a wide repertoire of Irish folk instruments, weaving a multifaceted and vibrant sound tapestry. With palpable passion and musical virtuosity, they interpret traditional tunes, songs, and ballads – sometimes exhilarating and powerful, sometimes sensitive and touching. Their own arrangements breathe new life into classics, and modern songs also find their place in the program, always stylishly embedded in the folk overall picture. The result is a varied live experience that not only impresses musically but is also charmingly moderated and presented with a wink. The audience always feels the band's deep connection to the musical tradition of Ireland – the land of green meadows, dance, and stories. Two highly regarded albums – "Native Land" (2015) and "Streetwise" (2019) – received excellent reviews in the trade press, attesting to the band's high musical level, both technically and in sound. A new CD is currently in the works – so there is much to look forward to. Tickets for the event on February 27, 2026, cost €13 in advance and €15 at the box office. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
