Birdwatching hike

Discover the birdlife of our homeland with Mr. Geitner, a local ornithologist and member of the Mingolsheim Bird and Nature Friends Association. Especially in spring, the uniqueness and beauty of our landscape unfolds, and the birdsong is one of the most striking natural phenomena. During an informative bird song hike through the orchards of the Mingolsheim area, towards the mountain forest and back along a parallel path, local ornithologist Herbert Geitner will introduce the birdlife of the region with context-sensitive explanations. Typically, on a guided bird song hike held in our landscape structure, up to 30 bird species can be seen, heard, learned about, and experienced. We warmly invite you to join us. Please bring the following: sturdy footwear, weather-resistant clothing, and binoculars.
